About the event
Fantasy Camp is a team building weekend event for Scouts. Youth hike around the camp in their patrols, dressed up in costumes, where they encounter creatures and traders.
They interact with the creatures, who can give them knowledge to complete their quests, and they can engage in role playing and dice based combat to defeat the creatures. As they defeat creatures, they gain gold and battle beads, which are cashed in with the traders to improve their stats so they can go on to battle more difficult creatures and eventually try to defeat the dragon at the end of the day.
The camp features other small events, such as a carnival, mini puzzle games, dinner at Ye Olde Mess Hall, and the spectacle of watching the top teams battle the dragon at the end of the day.
